About the Role

This full-time role, which reports to the Chief Product Officer, is perfect for someone comfortable working hand-in-hand with our district leaders and users. If you enjoy collaboration and relationship development, you will excel in this role.

  • Relationship Management
      • Build and maintain relationships with district-level leaders (Superintendent, Chief of Staff, and other critical roles)
      • Manage school-level relationships to drive KiNVO uptake, utilization, and impact  
  • Software Implementation and Ongoing Client Management
      • Coach at the district level to create vision and plan for KiNVO use
      • Lead in-person KiNVO implementation and training
      • Evaluate training practices and provide recommendations to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Client Renewal and Growth Activities
    • Grow positive relationships with district-level and school-level leaders to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
    • Present regular impact metrics to districts to support Kinvolved’s efficacy
    • Collaborate with sales team and identify expanded service delivery opportunities  
    • Renew annual contracts with districts and source geographically proximate new partners

We’d like you to have …

  • Former K–12 experience (2+ years)
  • Former client, account management, and/or education sales experience (5+ years)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Client Success Coordinator, New York City

About the Role

This full-time role, which reports to the Chief Product Officer, is perfect for someone comfortable working hand-in-hand with our school leaders and teachers based in the New York City Department of Education. If you enjoy troubleshooting, relationship development, and creative problem-solving, you will excel in this role.

  • Client onboarding and operations
    • Manage the implementation and logistics of NYC DOE school and program/network onboarding
    • Develop processes and implement systems for continuously gathering user feedback
    • Manage event planning and execution (e.g., Kinvolved bootcamps and seminars)

 

  • Client training and engagement

 

    • Provide in-person training to NYC DOE schools across the five boroughs
    • Support clients with technical and strategic product questions
    • Facilitate webinars to support continued skill development
    • Executive monthly client engagement campaigns via email and phone
  • Client renewal and growth
    • Demonstrate Kinvolved’s efficacy and effect by sharing with clients regular impact metrics

Director of District Partnerships, Georgia and Southeast Region

About the role:

This full-time role reports to the Chief Executive Officer. If you like closing deals, developing relationships, building sales territories, and helping a mission-driven company better serve students and families in public schools, this job is for you!

As an integral member of our team, you’ll work closely with our leadership to develop and execute on a school and district sales strategy that puts Kinvolved’s software and services into school districts across the southeast. Building upon Kinvolved’s early successes in Georgia, you will be responsible for promoting our solutions to GA and southeastern district leaders, amplifying the story of our success improving family engagement and reducing chronic absenteeism, and being the face of Kinvolved in the region.

You will be given a modest marketing budget for attending district relationship-building events in your territory.

Responsibilities:

    • Territory pipeline qualification and development:
      • Within a year, build a six-figure unweighted sales pipeline
      • Triple the existing annual revenue in GA while establishing a base in nearby states
      • Double the company’s average deal size in GA and establish sizable deals in nearby states
      • Be the face of the company at regional events, presentations, and meetings
  • Pipeline management:
    • Prepare and maintain a regional sales pipeline via the HubSpot CRM for weekly team meetings, semi-quarterly leadership meetings, and quarterly board meetings
    • Support RFP coordination and submission for deals in your territory
    • Manage sales from quote to close
    • Own, distribute, and track progress on all inbound sales leads

Required experience and abilities:

  • Carrying a quota in K–12 district sales of at least $1M in annual license revenue
  • Sales CRM knowledge and comfortability
  • Ability to travel 50–75% of work time, including evenings and weekends when needed

School Training Associate

School Training Associate (Contractor)

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role supports client trainings for a growing education technology company. The contractor will provide in-person, school-based trainings for New York City schools.

This is a great opportunity for anyone planning to work in education, education technology, or professional services, as well as for anyone interested in training educators and administrators.

You’re a good fit if you:

  • Love teaching educators and administrators how to use technology
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Would like to lend your experience toward social good

This is a contracted role, and you will need to be available on demand to provide school-based trainings across the five boroughs of the New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person trainings for educators and administrators
  • Teach educators and administrators how to use KiNVO, Kinvolved’s web and mobile app
  • Support educators and administrators in strategic KiNVO implementations, in alignment with Kinvolved’s curriculum on family engagement and attendance improvement
  • Gather and report feedback collected during trainings

Qualities and qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work one-on-one with educators and administrators
  • Ability to deliver a presentation in front of a large group of people
  • Previous experience in education

Contracting period: As needed by the company, from January through June 2019. This contractor role may extend to the 2019–2020 school year, with room for potential full-time employment and growth.

Compensation: Hourly rate for travel and trainings.
